Laws of the Game - Club Presentation Evening
We've managed to arrange a great opportunity for coaches, players and supporters to learn more about some of the more ambiguous aspects of football rules (off-side rule e.t.c), which will be presented by one of NZ"s top referees - Wayne Stapely.
This event will be held at the Spreydon Bowling Club, on Wednesday the 14th of March from 7pm til 9pm. All are welcome, with the committee requesting that coaches and those interested in becoming referees should be doing everything possible to keep that night free to attend this worthy learning session.
2012 Season Membership Fees
Fees for the 2012 season will be due by end of April, and will be set at $180 for players in the Mainland Competitions.
This is fantastic value for money, possibly the lowest subs in Christchurch! All players will receive all the information they require regarding fee payment upon registering with the club, along with a comprehensive welcome pack providing all the key information you could need.
New Player Developement League Coach
The 2012 season and the future in general for Christchurch United youth players moving into senior football receives a boost this year, with the appointment of former Christchurch United Senior Men's Stalwart Jason McDowall as new coach of the Player Development League.
Jason brings proven coaching pedigree and a strong career history in premier league football from his striking days in the Christchurch United Senior Men's Premier League squad. Jason's coaching ethos and playing attitude integrate well with Christchurch United, and we await some outstanding results from him in the season ahead.

Pre-season training/trials for the 2012 season are underway for most of our senior teams, as follows. Get along there now as we build up fitness and begin player selection for the squads.

2012 MPL Home Pitch Confirmed
Perfect conditions throughout the entire playing season have been secured for the Christchurch United MPL team, with our home ground for 2012 confirmed as ASB Football Park (English Park).
Playing on a state of the art, multi-million dollar artificial surface will ensure the best quality of football can be played by our lads throughout the season, not to mention the fantastic facilities for our supporters to enjoy.
COACHES AND VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
With strong numbers and new interest from players in our club, we are looking at another very positive season ahead. We are seeking keen coaches for teams in our competitive senior divisions and also for our junior club section.
We offer excellent equipment, facilities, training and support for our coaches - if you are interested in becoming a coach for one of NZ's most successful football clubs, contact our Club Captain via the contacts section of this website.
